The project, in collaboration with Barquet Arquitectos, spans an area of 212 hectares, with a design inspired by circular elements found in nature, aiming for a harmonious integration between urban infrastructure and green spaces.
The development comprises various mixed-use areas, including residential, recreational, commercial, cultural, sports, and ecological zones, all interconnected to create a multifunctional network. These areas are organized along a linear axis that runs through the entire site, distributing natural and recreational spaces around two lakes and a river, which serve as focal points throughout the development.
Key features include the main lake, where canoe and boat rentals will be available. Other planned amenities include playgrounds, rest areas, walkways, plazas, a lookout point, and a scenic train ride. Cultural spaces will encompass an ecology museum, a gallery and exhibition center, a library, an amphitheater, movie theaters, and an auditorium. Sports facilities will feature courts, jogging and cycling tracks, outdoor fitness areas, and designated spaces for yoga and meditation.
The ecological aspect is woven into the design through the inclusion of wetlands, a botanical garden, areas for wind and photovoltaic energy, and a nursery with a composting facility. Additionally, the project will incorporate a biodigester system and a treatment plant.
